Showsec the biggest provider of security and crowd management have been chosen to provide security, crowd management and stewarding to ensure the welfare and safety of the site visitors at large scale events being held in the summer of 2012, with capacities of up to 60,000 people.
We are looking for an 2 x Event staff Booker to join our team. Reporting to the Booking Supervisor you will be expected to deliver great service to your casual staff as well as the Showsec Operations Team.
Key roles and responsibilities include:-
Filling Showsec bookings with the appropriate staff
Liaising with the Operations Team
Organising transport for or casual staff
Ensuring all administration is correct
Key experience, skills and knowledge required:-
Working in a fast paced customer focussed environment
Experience in a customer service based business
The skills to juggle differing priorities and come up with solutions
Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive approach
Applicants with a Recruitment, Logistics, Contact Centre or Customer Service background would be able to fit in quickly. This is true customer service role, with no sales, that will require you to work hard, think on your feet, work as a team and look forward to the next challenge
You will need to have good PC skills and be able to learn new processes and quickly. The ability to build good relationships quickly will be vital to your success.

Duration – 6 month FTC
Salary – up to £17.5k

2012 is an exciting year for the events industry. Showsec the biggest provider of security and Crowd management have been chosen to provide security, crowd management and stewarding to ensure the welfare and safety of the site visitors at large scale events being held in London 2012, with capacities of up to 60,000 people.
To assist us with the training that will be required by all our newly recruited casual staff we looking to hire an experienced Learning and Development Coordinator to support the L&D Team to ensure that development opportunities are clearly defined and delivered.
This will include course/event management, scheduling, vendor management, material production and supporting the design and delivery of L&D interventions.
Specifically, the role responsibilities will include updating and maintaining training information, arranging meetings and booking rooms with project stakeholders, acting as a point of contact for all training queries and running reports and preparing statistical data to support strategic analysis.
A successful candidate must have excellent PC skills and the ability to learn new applications quickly. The candidate must also demonstrate good written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with vendors and colleagues.
You must have experience working within the training space preferably within the events and entertainment industry.
The role is a six month fixed term contract starting ASAP
Salary up to 18k dependant on experience.
